Gig Reviews

Introduction

If you have never been lucky enough to attend a Busker Bash then you have missed out on a truly unique comedy experience. Each of the shows is different and the nature of the act is tailored to suite the audience and fine tuned by Dr Busker as he reads the audience reaction. Lunch time and public shows tend to be a mixture of Folk, Classical and mild humour designed not to cause offence.

Christmas time includes a mixed melody of Christmas carols, festive tunes and cheer to get cold toes and fingers tapping. Evening and private events tend to be full on, hard hitting bawdy humour with no punches pulled. These shows have a progressive format with the first set using the same mild folk and comedy content as per the day time show.

After this each set becomes progressively harder hitting with strong language and cutting satire to the point where after the second set a warning is normally given that things are about to get rude so if you don’t like it “please **** off (leave) now”.

"The following gig reviews do not cover all recent gigs because they are intended to show a cross section of the type of events we do."
